Zero carbon Wells

The planet needs to stop being a net-producer of CO2 and other greenhouse gasses by mid-century or before if we are to stay within the 1.5°C global temperature rise.  This is a huge but vital task and all cities, regions and nations need to contribute towards this aim.

Zero-Carbon Wells is a project group to help do our bit.  We are developing early stage resources for the transition to zero-carbon.  The Zero-Carbon Britain resources at the Center for Alternative Technology are a wonderful source of information and the model for many such projects around the country.  We use them as a basis for the larger scale planning required to become net-zero carbon here in Wells.
