Freecycle

Like a car boot sale but no money changes hands – everything is given away free and this helps unwanted things get reused not trashed.

Come and join us and do your bit to extend the life of things!

This is the perfect opportunity to make someone happy by bringing your no longer needed treasures and giving them away.

Asked if there are things in our home which haven’t been used for years - and are unlikely to in the foreseeable future most of us would put our hands up.
In recent years there has been a lot of information about de-cluttering, living a minimalist lifestyle and recognising that more stuff doesn’t mean more happiness.
Whether you’re going for a Marie Kondo style clear out or just want to make more space in one drawer you can make someone’s day by bringing it along to the next Freecycle event.

“One man’s trash is another man’s treasure”

Or in this case another woman’s treasure! Sometimes you can see something at a Freecycle event and immediately have a picture of how it can be given a second lease of life. This was the case with these old iron brackets - the perfect solution for Den’s bathroom shelving.
Touched up with a lick of black paint and some stylish storage it’s perfect example of turning ‘trash into treasure’
